About
Why Battalion
Battalion Home Watch is veteran and firefighter owned and operated — built on the same standard we were trained to hold on duty: everyone accounted for, nothing left unchecked. We brought that discipline home. Every property on our roster gets the same rigor — a set schedule, a written record, and someone who actually walks the house instead of driving past it.
A battalion doesn't take a night off. Neither do we. — Battalion Home Watch
Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Home Watch?
Home Watch is a scheduled visual check of your property while you're away. Battalion Home Watch helps identify visible concerns, documents the condition of your home, and keeps you informed through detailed reporting and communication.
Is Home Watch the same as a home inspection?
No. Home Watch is not a licensed home inspection, property management service, or guarantee against damage. It is a visual check of the property for obvious concerns or changes that may have occurred while you're away.
Do I need to be a seasonal resident to use Battalion Home Watch?
No. Our services can be used whenever you'll be away from your Southwest Florida property, whether that's for a few weeks, several months, or throughout the year.
How often will someone visit my home?
Visit frequency depends on your membership — weekly, bi-weekly, or a custom schedule built around your property and the season.
What's included in a visit report?
Every visit gets a dated report with photos and notes covering the interior, exterior, and anything that needs your attention.
How will I know my home was checked?
We use QRIDit which has a Geo-Fence that allows you to know we are on property or have been on the property. After each scheduled visit, you'll receive a detailed digital report with photos and observations so you can stay informed about your property while you're away.
What happens if you find a problem?
If we discover a concern, we'll document it and contact you promptly. Depending on the situation and your authorization, we can also help coordinate access for your preferred service provider or contractor.
Do you hold a key to my property?
Yes — keys are logged, stored securely, and used only for scheduled visits or approved vendor access.
What areas do you serve?
All locations in Collier, Lee, & Charlotte County
Are you Insured and Bonded?
Yes Battalion Home Watch is Insured & Bonded
